Avon Dog Services is owned and operated by me, Adam Daines, yet I’m fortunate to work with a small team of hand-selected, passionate and experienced dog trainers, and we all work hard to ensure our clients receive the friendliest and most professional service possible.
I'm a full UK member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers; a member of the UK Behaviour & Training Charter and I’m a Victoria Stilwell Positively Dog Trainer, VSA Faculty Member and VSA Faculty Advisor.
It’s these accreditations, qualifications and 20-years’ experience as a dog behavioural specialist that prompted television producers to reach out and ask me to appear on series 1 of Channel 4's The Dog Academy alongside a team of other qualified dog trainers.
Based in Bath, but expanding to include residential dog training holidays in Wiltshire in 2025, we are firmly established as one the premier dog training organisations in the southwest of the UK.

Adam is available to help with most behavioural and training needs, limited to Bath only. The only 2 things Adam doesn't deal with is resource guarding and separation anxiety, but we have experts we can recommend for that
Claire offers Saturday group training classes in Twerton Village Hall, as well as one to one training sessions and home visits throughout the week in Bath and close surrounding areas
Holly offers Sunday group training classes in Winsley Village Hall - Bradford on Avon, as well as one to one training sessions and home visits throughout the week in Bradford on Avon, Trowbridge and close surrounding areas
